David seems to be surrounded by humans who are unwell. It isn't just people he knows, it's humans with whom he is acquainted, humans he is told about by others and stories he reads on the internet or in the paper. The number of people who suffer from some form of ill health seems to outnumber those who enjoy good health. Poor health seems to be an epidemic in its own right.
The question I want you to consider is who is ill? If you can accept that which you perceive as real is actually a misperception at every level then how can illness have such a big part to play in the human condition?
I would like you just to think about that for a moment. It seems to be easy for humans to say things such as ‘I am not this body’ without actually considering what that statement means. Yes, it often gives rise to an understanding that, on the spiritual journey, you have to recognise that the body is a vehicle that transports the soul for some time until it has no further use.
But is that really the Truth? Is it a fact? That a human body carries a soul to be reborn in the next human body etc, etc? Who comes up with these particular ideas? And why and where do they flourish?
Well, they flourish in the human condition, and if you've been reading these Messages properly, you will know that the human condition is a misperception, something that is made up to satisfy the ego-mind, which is driven by your core programming.
Is it necessary to believe that the soul is carried by a human body to gain some form of spiritual enlightenment? Of course, it isn't. Why should it be that believing in that fact will make a difference in the outcome of your spiritual journey? You can ignore that completely. What difference does it make if you were in your 50th or 500th lifetime?
Where you are today is the here and now, and it is here and now in which you need to grasp the misperception.
Once you have grasped the misperception, you will similarly appreciate that which is determined as illness can be an extension of the misperception and, therefore, is completely driven by the mind. If it is completely driven by the mind, then it can be completely changed by the mind as well. But what you tend to do is accept certain things as being spiritual and other things as being physical, and physical things can only be dealt with by and within a physical world.
To accept what I'm saying takes tremendous courage and tremendous focus and being Awake doesn't necessarily mean that all illnesses, all diseases, fall away. But, if you start to truly believe ‘Thy Will Be Done’, then you also have to truly believe that the solution to your illness can also be found in those four words.
Now, I am not saying giving up your medication and just uttering those four words will make you well. It goes far deeper than that. You must continue taking your medication, but you can supplement it by uttering those four words with ‘Full Belief’ – and who knows, that which is regarded as incurable may be cured.
I Love You.
